Menami - Handmade Udon

The udon noodles in the Tsuke Udon was really chewy and enjoyable. In terms of flavour, it was very simple and reminded me of soba noodles.  The broth was simple but flavourful enough.

The Kama Udon and Yaki Udon were decent as well, but i felt it was slightly over cooked and not as chewy as the Tsuke Udon.

Probably will visit again if im craving noodles in the area.

Cheero Danboard Portable Battery Review

Portable batteries: smartphone users, especially those that don't use iPhones or large phablets will definitely realize this problem.   I personal have been using this battery for a while, and it has been good.  The 2.1A port gives quite the juice for any tablets, and the normal 1A port is more than enough for my phone.

The nice and bad thing about this is the power button.  Unless you hit the power button (the mouth) you will not be able to charge, and when you forget, it sucks.

California Day 1-2: Santa Clara + Stanford Explorations

Its been a long time since I had time to explore and have some alone time. Being my first time here in California, it was perfect opportunity for me to explore and discover new things.  I was a bit jet lagged and had to settle down at night, so the amount of time spent was limited.

Day 1: Santa Clara.

Mostly Walked around from my place to the Caltrain Station, then went on route to Nvidia.  On my way back, took pictures of really pretty homes.  I really like how much effort the people have spent to make the gardens look amazing.

Day 2: Palo Alto, Stanford + more Santa Clara

Kombucha

The key to making something look good, use a large aperture.  But that aside, I would not recommend that people try this.  Its a fermented drink using tea leaves as a base, and it tastes oddly like beer but without the alcohol.  Unless you are into that taste... but in that case, then get some beer!

Side note: Medical studies are show that kombucha don't really have a particular health benefit, so I wouldn't trust the marketing material.
