Provence was a quick detour that was very nice. It was good to purchase some relaxing lavender things for my parents. Paris and Versailles were the part of the trip that I had the most difficulty enjoying. Mainly because I felt like it was the leg where we did the most touristy things, and it just became so crowded that it was starting to be uncomfortable. Still it was a pretty tower. Just seeing the tower was kinda cool, especially since it looks different at different times.
The best part of this leg of the journey had to be the Macarons. They were some of the best Macarons I have ever eaten! Amazingly light and not overly sweet.
